JUDITH HILL:
BLACK WIDOW

Grammy-winning singer and Prince protégé Judith Hill’s latest record “Letters From a Black Widow” was featured in The New York Times.

The article traces how the singer, smeared as ‘Black Widow’ in tabloids for her close associations with Michael Jackson and Prince at their times of death, turned the label into ammunution for an epic, theatricalized self-expression.

I served as artistic adviser for the LP release, also directing the music video for a second single, Dame de la Lumière.
