THE COMET / POPPEA
Presented on a rotating stage, the work brings together 1920s New York City and ancient Rome, allowing two stories of cultural transformation to unfold simultaneously through a series of associations, collisions, and convergences. Developed through a national partnership among AMOC*, The Industry, Curtis Institute of Music, Michigan Central Art, and Yale Schwarzman Center, the production toured nationally following its world premiere in Los Angeles.
